Nathan P. has extensive experience in quantitative development and kdb+ technology, currently serving as the Director - Quant Development Lead at BGC Partners since August 2015. Previously, Nathan worked at First Derivatives from September 2006 to August 2015 as a Financial Engineer and kdb+ Trainer/Consultant, where responsibilities included training developers, DBAs, and traders in kdb+ technologies. Notable projects include leading the development of a fixed income quote aggregator at Fidelity Investments and consulting on a risk management project for CIBC. Nathan's early roles include kdb+ development in equities and credit derivatives analysis at various financial institutions. Nathan holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Dublin City University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin.
