Sid Gold and his wife Varda have three sons: Ari, Roni, and Adam. The Gold family has lived in Wyckoff, NJ since 1979, and spends the wintertime on the Florida coast. As a boy, Sid was a National Science Fair Winner and a member of the Young People’s Orchestra. He graduated from City College of New York in 1964 with a B.A. in Economics and Music as well as a B.S. in Micro Biology. Professionally, he served as Senior Vice President, Salomon Brothers, where he was responsible for Equity Options Trading; Managing Director, Phillip Brothers, where he was responsible for commodity Options and Swaps; Managing Director and later President of AIG Trading Corp. G.C.; Founding Member, C.B.O.E.; and President of the Philadelphia Option Advisory Committee. Sid is an active big game fisherman and took 3rd place in the 2006 Big Rock Marlin Tournament.
