Rowan Bird

Rowan Bird is an experienced investor focusing on UK Deep Tech and Climate Tech companies, primarily at the Series A stage, with a current role as an Investor at BGF since July 2019. Alongside this position, Rowan is also serving as Investor Director at DEScycle and KYND, and holds the role of Investor Mentor at the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK. Additional responsibilities include Board Observer positions at Artus, Cheesecake Energy Ltd, Gaussion, and Sunswap. Rowan previously held the Investor Director position at Arborea until February 2024. Rowan holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University, obtained from 2013 to 2016, and completed secondary education at Oundle School from 2008 to 2013.
