Senior Operations Analyst at BGI

Jason Walker has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2003, they started as a Junior Officer at VFA-151 Vigilantes and worked there until 2006. Jason then served as a Navy Exchange Pilot to Canada from 2006 to 2009, where they were responsible for developing and evaluating tactics, planning operations, and overseeing day-to-day operations. From 2009 to 2011, Jason worked as an Assistant Operations Officer at CVW-2 Operations Staff. In 2012, they became the Department Head at VFA-136 and held that position until 2014. Jason joined Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic in 2014 as a Training Officer, where they were involved in developing training solutions and coordinating simulator upgrades. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as an Air Operations Officer at Commander Carrier Strike Group TEN. Jason then became an Instructor Pilot at Strike Fighter Squadron ONE ZERO SIX (VFA-106) from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at American Airlines as an Airline Pilot and also holds the position of Senior Operations Analyst at BGI, LLC.

Jason Walker earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy from 1996 to 2000. Jason later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix, studying from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Jason also obtained several certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration. Jason earned a Commercial Aviation License in September 2002, became a Private Aircraft Pilot in June 1995, and obtained an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification in February 2016. Most recently, in January 2020, they acquired the CFII certification.
