Scott Powell

Scott Powell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in varying leadership roles within defense and aerospace industries. Currently serving as Director and Senior Program Manager at BGI, LLC since December 2016, Scott previously held multiple key positions at Lockheed Martin from April 1994 to December 2015, including Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer, Technical Director, and Section Head. Notable achievements include managing teams of engineers in the development of training systems for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, leading successful proposals for high-fidelity training systems worth over $400 million, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective collaboration with domestic and international stakeholders. Scott holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University, obtained in 1984.
