Stephen Wolbert has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Stephen began their career in 2006 as the NCOIC Current Operations at the United States Air Force, where they served as a subject matter expert for technical issues and played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the fleet. In 2008, they became the Superintendent Grp Stan/Eval at the USAF, where they led the Flight Engineer workforce for a highly deployed unit and supervised the standardization and evaluation process for 370 personnel. In 2010, Stephen joined the United States Air Force as the 12 AF Superintendent/Oversight and Evaluations/Flight Engineer Flight Examiner, where their responsibilities included overseeing the execution, oversight, and evaluation of programs at 70 assigned units. Stephen also served as the Sr. Supervisor ISC at Honeywell Aerospace from 2013 to 2016, before transitioning to the role of Aircraft Mechanic at the USAF from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Stephen is an Instructor Flight Engineer at BGI, LLC.
Stephen Wolbert has a diverse education history. Stephen obtained a Lean Six Sigma Training Certificate from Villanova University in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, they gained multiple associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in 2005, including one in Aviation Operations and another in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Stephen also holds several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University, obtained in June 2013, and Value Management, Production Quality Management Fundamentals, and Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management from the Defense Acquisition University, obtained in 2013 and 2012. In 2012, they also obtained the Professional Manager certification from CCAF.
