Mike Deards has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Mike started their career as a Finance Manager at Virgin Media (Telewest) in 2001 and continued in this role until 2005. In 2005, they joined Ericsson and held roles as a Finance Manager and later as a Controller until 2013. Mike then joined BGIS, where they served as the Director of Finance and Lease Administration from 2014 to 2017. Mike was subsequently promoted to Director of Finance - Acquisitions from 2017 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as the North America Finance Director, responsible for finance in a key North American client account. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Finance Director at BGIS from 2020 onwards.
Mike Deards holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Mike also has certification as an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) from ICAEW.
