Paul Barton

Paul Barton is an accomplished professional in energy and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Energy & Sustainability at BGIS since April 2015. In this role, Paul leads a team dedicated to assisting Public Services and Procurement Canada in achieving carbon neutrality for its facilities across Canada. Prior experience includes positions at Minto Group Inc. as Manager of Energy & Environment, and prior roles at Halsall Associates, Golder Associates, Stantec, and BRE, where Paul focused on energy auditing, sustainable building practices, and renewable energy applications. Paul holds a B.Eng in Environmental Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds.
