Slafka Faitz, CRSP, currently serves as the Director of Health & Safety Management Systems for North America & the UK at BGIS, focusing on the certification of management systems to ISO 45001 and 14001 standards and enhancing health, safety, and wellness strategies. Prior experience includes roles as Corporate Health & Safety Senior Leader at AGS Automotive Systems, where Slafka established a safety-centric culture, and Health and Safety Manager at Reliance Home Comfort, overseeing health and safety practices across extensive operations in Canada and the USA. Slafka's career began at ArcelorMittal Dofasco, advancing through various positions to become a Senior Health & Safety Specialist, ensuring compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. Education includes an Honors Bachelor of Science in Psychology from McMaster University and additional studies at Ryerson University.
