Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in facilities management and critical operations. Currently serving as Operations Manager at BGIS since April 2022, Steve previously held the same title at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA from August 2014 to April 2022, where responsibilities included managing the maintenance team and facilities management activities for all Southwestern Ontario Walmart stores. Prior roles include Operations Manager of two critical data centers for IBM Canada and Operations Manager for Critical Properties at RBC Dominion Securities. Steve began a career in operations as Chief Operating Engineer at American Express and started as Lead Electrician at Novopharm. Education includes a degree in C&M Electrician from George Brown College and a FMP designation from IFMA.
