Steven van Dalen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IoT, smart buildings, and digital manufacturing. Currently serving as Head Of Technology at bGrid since December 2021, Steven is responsible for leading product and technology initiatives. Previously, Steven consulted at Tata Steel in Europe, managing IoT environment industrialization and scaling private LoRa networks. Steven's career includes various roles at Sogeti Nederland, focusing on IoT solutions, software engineering, and architectural design for multiple clients. Additionally, Steven has contributed as Solution Architect for Heijmans' smart buildings platform and as Tech Lead for AkzoNobel's digital manufacturing deployment. Other notable positions include ownership of Control Living, specializing in smart home solutions, and various consulting roles with prominent companies such as HTC and Bosch. Steven holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Swinburne University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hanze, complemented by a HAVO in Biology and Science.
