Dirk Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dirk began their career as a Law Clerk at the Superior Court of Massachusetts in 1994 before establishing their own law firm, the Law Office of Dirk Williams, in 1995. Dirk served as the Principal of their firm until 2001.

From 2001 to 2003, Williams worked as an Assistant General Counsel at the Department of Developmental Disabilities. During this time, they provided legal counsel and support.

Dirk Williams obtained their Bachelor's Degree in International Studies/Economics from the University of Wyoming, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at Northeastern University School of Law, graduating in 1994.
