John Riester

John Riester is an accomplished publisher and real estate broker with extensive experience in the publishing industry and business development. As the Publisher and Owner of retrofit magazine and retrofitTV since October 2009, John has also served as the VP of Business Development and Partner at Roofing Magazine since January 2014. Additionally, John has been a Real Estate Broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices since March 2021. Prior roles include Publisher at Hanley Wood from May 2007 to July 2009 and Publisher at Spiderweb Publishing from May 2000 to April 2007, where there was ownership of metalmag and eco-structure magazines. John holds a BA in Marketing and Communication from Western Illinois University, completed between 1981 and 1985.
