Joseph Barbuzza

Joseph Barbuzza has extensive experience in portfolio management, credit analysis, and underwriting. Joseph currently serves as the Vice President of Portfolio Management at BHI since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the VP, Credit Officer Portfolio Manager at Newtek Business Services Corp. from August 2019 to July 2021. Joseph also has experience as an Associate in Underwriting & Portfolio Management at Santander Bank, N.A. from April 2019 to August 2019. Joseph has a strong background in credit analysis and held multiple roles at TD, including Credit Analyst III AVP, Credit Analyst II AVP, and Credit Analyst I - ABL Underwriter from 2013 to 2019. Joseph began their career as a Tax Analyst at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in 2013 and worked as a Corporate Tax Department Intern from 2009 to 2013.

Joseph Barbuzza attended St. Anthony's High School from 2003 to 2007. After completing high school, they went on to enroll at the University of Scranton, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Accounting, from 2007 to 2011.
