Aaron Drake

Aaron Drake is an experienced Mine Planning Engineer currently working at BHP Billiton since December 2015. Prior to this role, Aaron held a similar position at Precision Mining from September 2013 to December 2015, focusing on short-term scheduling, drill and blast operations, and developing annual mine plans for clients such as Anglo American and Whitehaven Coal. Aaron's expertise also includes work as a Drill and Blast Engineer at Downer, where responsibilities involved blast pattern design and quality assurance, and as a Short Term Planning Engineer at Downer Mining, concentrating on short-term scheduling and planning at the Millennium Mine. Aaron holds an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering from The University of Queensland, completed between 2006 and 2014.
