Adam Lancey

Asset President - BHP Mitsubishi Alliance

Adam Lancey currently serves as Board President of the Queensland Resources Council since November 2023. With a longstanding tenure at BHP starting in 2001, Adam has held numerous key positions, including Asset President for the BHP Mitsubishi Alliance and Vice President of NSW Energy Coal. Responsibilities have included oversight of infrastructure, access, commercial operations, and port and rail activities, as well as leadership roles within various coal operations. Additionally, Adam has contributed as a director on several boards, including Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group and Hunter Valley Coal Chain Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Mining Engineering from Federation University Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Finance, Economics, and Financial Planning from the University of Newcastle.
