Amanda Chang

Amanda Chang is an experienced professional with a strong background in procurement, supply chain planning, and operational improvement within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Carbon Desk Principal at BHP since October 2016, Amanda has held various roles focused on procurement excellence and integrated production remote operations. Prior to BHP, Amanda worked as a management consultant at Deloitte from March 2012 to September 2016. Early career experiences include internships at POSCO, focusing on strategy and business planning, and research roles addressing global food and water crises at Future Directions International and microfinance initiatives with Innovations for Poverty Action. Amanda holds an MBA from Boston University and degrees in Arts (Chinese and Japanese Languages) and Economics from The University of Western Australia, as well as additional studies in Economics and Strategy at the University of Michigan.
