Amelia Carter is currently a Principal Portfolio & Insights at BHP and is completing their final semester in a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical)(Honours) and a Master of Engineering (Biomedical) at Flinders University. Previously, Amelia gained valuable experience as a Service Engineer at Anteris Technologies, where they maintained and repaired infusion pumps, and worked as an Engineering Design Tutor and Sports Biomechanics Tutor at Flinders University. Their research contributions were acknowledged in a published paper focused on ergonomic chair design, and they also completed a rehabilitation engineering internship where they developed a prototype shoulder rehabilitation device. Amelia has a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of biomedical engineering, complemented by a diverse range of casual work and athletic involvement.
