Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott currently serves as the Lead Principal, Think and Act Differently at BHP and holds the position of Lead, Robotics and Automation at Prominent Hill. In addition, Andrew is a Leadership Board Member of the H2Q Hydrogen Industry Cluster and the Executive Chairman of Queensland Robotics. Previous experiences include Principal Innovator at Symbiotic Innovations and Robotics and Automation Lead at OZ Minerals. Andrew has also been actively involved with the Global Mining Guidelines Group as Vice Chair and outgoing Chairman, contributing to the mining industry's improvement through collaboration. Notable past positions include National Cluster Development Manager at METS Ignited Australia Ltd and various senior roles at Barrick Gold Corporation and Placer Dome. Andrew holds a degree from The University of Queensland, earned between 1983 and 1987.
