Araz Ejtemaei

Araz Ejtemaei is a highly experienced mineral processing engineer with a Master's degree from Amirkabir University of Technology and a PhD from The University of Queensland. With a background that includes a role as a Mineral Processing Engineer at Amirkabir University, Araz has contributed to projects on adsorption and waste treatment of hazardous materials. Araz's research experience at The University of Queensland involved modeling and simulations, flotation processes, and dewatering techniques, leading to postdoctoral research on coal and tailings dewatering. Recently, Araz has worked at BHP, taking on various roles including Process Engineer and Specialist in System Dynamics, focusing on optimizing coal processing plant performance and modeling mining value chains.
