Ashley Cates, CPHR, PMP, has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as Manager of HR Business Partnership at BHP since May 2022. Prior roles at BHP include Lead Principal of HR PMO & Studies and Talent Acquisition Lead. Ashley's experience also includes a managerial position in Talent Acquisition and serving as a Strategic Business Advisor in HR at the University of Saskatchewan from January 2018 to May 2022. Previous to this, Ashley worked at Cameco Corporation as an HR Specialist focused on workforce planning and talent acquisition, and at Envirotec Services Incorporated with roles including Manager of Human Resources. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management from the University of Saskatchewan and is pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
