Ben Birch

Ben Birch is currently the Principal Value Chain Analysis and Simulation at BHP. They have held various leadership roles, including Solutions Architect at Hitachi Vantara and Managing Director at Motiv.io. Ben served as a Marine Engineering Officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy from 2006 to 2015 and has also held directorial positions at multiple companies, including Hot Water Heat Pumps Ltd and Automation Innovation Ltd. They completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics with First Class Honours from Massey University and a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Management with Distinction from the University of Portsmouth.
