Cameron Ross is the Head of Aviation at the Flight Safety Foundation, a position held since 2010. They previously served as Aviation Manager at Exxon Neftegas, where they developed aviation support for the Sakhalin-1 Project in the Far East of Russia. Cameron has also worked as a Senior Aviation Operations Advisor at ExxonMobil Corporation and held various advisory roles across the aviation sectors of BHP and Esso Australia. Their early career includes serving as an Army Pilot and Experimental Test Pilot in the Australian Defence Force. Cameron earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from UNSW and completed test flying at the Empire Test Pilots School.
