Catherine Raw is the Chief Development Officer at BHP, the world’s leading resources company, bringing over 20 years of experience in geoscience, fund management, finance, and operations. Catherine currently oversees Group strategy, decision evaluation, capital planning, and corporate business development at BHP. Previously, Catherine held various leadership roles at Barrick Gold Corporation and BlackRock, and has been recognized with the Eira Thomas Award for leadership in 2018. Catherine is a member of the 2018 World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders class and holds a Master of Arts in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
