Catherine Taylor

Catherine Taylor is a seasoned hydrogeologist and environmental specialist with extensive experience in the mining and water management sectors. Currently serving as a Hydrogeologist and previously as a Water Licensing and Approvals Officer at BHP since February 2021, Catherine has held multiple roles at BHP since 2018, including Environmental Specialist/Water Analyst. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Advisor at Newmont Mining Corporation and various environmental management positions at the Department of Water, Downer EDi Mining, Rio Tinto, Barrick Gold Corporation, and the Department of Environment and Conservation. Catherine holds a Graduate Certificate of Science in Hydrogeology from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan University.
