Christopher Cooper is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project controls and management, currently serving as the Global Head of Project Controls & Analysis at BHP since August 2010. Previous roles at BHP include Vice President of Global Project Controls & Analysis and Project Services Manager for Minerals Australia. Notable achievements include leading cost engineering efforts on major iron ore projects and overseeing the HBI Closure Project in Western Australia. Prior to BHP, Christopher held various positions in financial and project management at Georgiou Group Pty Ltd and Technip, and began a career in accounting at Letizia Palmer Chartered Accountants. Christopher holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Mineral Economics and an MBA from Curtin University, as well as certifications in project management and accounting.
