Cu Phan has extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors, holding various leadership positions at BHP since April 2012, including General Manager roles in Integrated Operations, Surface Development & Planning, and Engineering & Non-Process Infrastructure. Prior to BHP, Cu Phan served as a Senior Process Engineer at Xstrata Copper from January 2009 to April 2012 and held engineering positions at Xstrata Technology, Zinifex, and CSR Limited. Cu Phan began the professional journey as a Graduate Production Engineer after obtaining a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Chemical Engineering from James Cook University between 1998 and 2001.
