Daniel Tucker is the Superintendent of Strategic Mine Planning at BHP, specializing in ore reserves estimation, life of asset planning, and the mentoring of junior engineers. Previously, they served as a Principal Engineer in Strategic Planning at BHP, overseeing Olympic Dam ore reserves estimation and leading mining optimization studies. Prior to BHP, Daniel worked at Glencore as a Senior Mining Engineer, managing a team to deliver safe and efficient drill and blast designs and implementing key improvements in mining processes. They hold a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (Hons) from The University of Adelaide, which they completed in 2011.
