Daryl Tan

Lead Project Controls & Analysis

Daryl Tan has extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, currently serving as Lead Project Controls & Analysis at BHP since February 2021, after roles as Principal Planning & Scheduling and Specialist Planning & Scheduling. Prior to BHP, Daryl worked at Iluka Resources from June 2015 to January 2021 as a Project Planner, overseeing master project schedule development and shutdown maintenance scheduling. Daryl's earlier experience includes roles at Sinclair Knight Merz from May 2008 to March 2014, focusing on EPCM project planning for Rio Tinto Iron Ore expansion projects, and at WestOne Services from April 2001 to February 2008 as a Learning Media Specialist in instructional and UI design for e-learning. Additionally, Daryl contributed as a Sessional Tutor at Edith Cowan University from 1999 to 2004 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia & IT from Edith Cowan University, as well as foundational education from The University of Western Australia and Swanbourne Senior High School.
