David Li

David Li is a seasoned professional in the fields of venture capital, investment banking, and private equity. Currently serving as Partner at BHP Ventures since June 2024, David has cultivated substantial experience with Avanta Ventures from 2018 to 2024, previously held roles in product operations at Pivotal Software, and worked as a venture capitalist at Longitude Capital. Prior to that, David contributed to investment banking at Lazard and private equity at KKR and Open Water Capital. Early career experience includes a role in private wealth management at Merrill Lynch. David holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
