David Steed

David Steed has over 20 years of experience in project controls and cost engineering within the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as Senior Project Controller and Lead Project Services for Iron Ore Projects at BHP Billiton since November 2013, David has previously held key roles, including Lead Cost Engineer at FAST JV, where contributions were made to the Jimblebar Project and Port Hedland Inner Harbour Project. David's expertise extends across various organizations, such as Clough, Pinc Group Pty Ltd, Calibre, Newcrest Mining, and ADRAIL Joint Venture, showcasing a solid background in managing project costs and controls. David holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
