Dean Mio

Dean Mio, also known as Deano, is currently the Principal of Construction Improvement at BHP, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Dean served as a Transformation Superintendent at Newcrest Mining from 2020 to 2023 and led safety and training initiatives at various companies, including Monadelphous as a Senior HSE Advisor from 2013 to 2017 and Zenviron as Project HSE Lead from 2017 to 2020. Dean's experience also includes roles at WorleyParsons and Fluor - Australia as an HSE Supervisor, as well as working as a Specialist Trainer at Paull & Warner RECEO from 2007 to 2009.
