Devon Powell

Devon Powell is an experienced professional in project management, currently serving as Superintendent of Modifications and Operational Projects at BHP since March 2025. Prior to this role, Devon held various positions at Nutrien, including Mine Capital Portfolio Manager, Capital Projects Manager, and Senior Project Manager from May 2019 to March 2025. Devon's earlier experience includes serving as Underground Construction Manager at Global Project Management and as Deputy Construction Manager and Contracts Manager at AMC Mining, where significant contributions were made to the PCS Rocanville West Expansion project. Devon's career began as a Contracts Administrator at JS Redpath and includes service as an Infantryman in the Canadian Armed Forces. Educational qualifications include a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University and an ongoing Executive MBA in Global Leadership at the University of Fredericton.
