Edison Herrera

Edison Herrera is the Practice Lead of Metallurgy at BHP, a position they have held since 2017. Previously, they served as the Gerente de Metalurgia at Freeport-McMoRan from 2010 to 2013, where they developed metallurgical processes for a greenfield plant. Edison also worked as the Superintendente de plantas at Minera Escondida Limitada from 1990 to 2008 and led the Processing Area at Instituto de Innovación en Minería y Metalurgia from 2014 to 2017.
