Elaina Ware

Elaina Ware has extensive experience in the mining and resources sector, currently serving as Vice President of the Resource Centre of Excellence and Legacy Assets at BHP since March 2025. Prior to this role, Elaina held multiple senior leadership positions at Newmont Corporation, including SVP/Group Head of Planning & Mining, SVP/Group Head of Operations Excellence, and Vice President of Operations Transformation from August 2022 to March 2025. Elaina's career also includes significant roles at Coeur Mining, Inc., Teck Resources Limited, and Rio Tinto, encompassing responsibilities in health and safety, operations management, and continuous improvement. Elaina holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
