Emma McCarthy

Emma McCarthy is currently the Principal Maintenance Contracts for Mining Equipment at BHP, where they oversee essential maintenance contracts. They previously served as Contracts & Procurement Superintendent at Idemitsu Australia Resources from 2017 to 2020 and held various roles in contract management and procurement at companies including Woodside Energy, Leighton Contractors, and Santos Ltd. Emma began their career at BHP Billiton as a Contracts Administrator and have continued to build a strong foundation in procurement and contract management across the mining and energy sectors. They are currently pursuing dual bachelor degrees in Commerce with a focus on Commercial Law and Construction Management at Curtin University and the University of Newcastle, respectively.
