Emma Stone

Emma Stone has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Group Financial Controller at BHP since May 2007, where multiple leadership roles include Head of Global Governance and Policy, Head of Accounting Transformation, and Head of Global Accounting Policy. Prior to BHP, Emma held the position of Financial Reporting Manager at Village Roadshow and worked in finance at Colorado Group. Earlier career highlights include serving as Financial Controller at Turner Broadcasting and as Audit Manager at Ernst & Young. Emma is a Chartered Accountant, having completed certification through the Institute of Chartered Accounts from 1994 to 1996, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland, obtained from 1991 to 1993.
