Hamish Freeman is an experienced geologist with a strong background in project generation and exploration, particularly in copper and iron oxide-copper-gold deposits. Hamish began career at Minotaur Resources Ltd as a Project Geologist focusing on the Mount Woods area and progressed to Senior Exploration Geologist at Oxiana, contributing to the Prominent Hill Bankable Feasibility Study and leading near-mine and regional exploration programs. Subsequently, Hamish served as a Senior Exploration Geologist and later as Principal Geologist for The Americas at OZ Minerals, focusing on global copper project generation across various regions. Currently, Hamish holds the position of Principal Geologist in Project Generation at BHP. Hamish holds two degrees from the University of Adelaide, including a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology.
