Iain Dalrymple is a geochemist currently serving as the Lead Principal Geochemist at BHP since 2025. They previously held the position of Principal Geochemist at Anglo American from 2021 to 2025 and have experience as a Principal Geochemist for Exploration at Teck Resources Limited from 2018 to 2020. Before that, Iain was the General Manager for Activation Laboratories Ltd in Australia from 2005 to 2011. Iain earned a PhD in Geochemistry from the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2005.
