Ioannis Kotsos

Ioannis (Yanni) Kotsos is the General Manager of South Flank at BHP, specializing in Western Australia Iron Ore. With a career rooted in advising leading corporations and governments on operations management, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions, Yanni has held various senior leadership roles within BHP, including Project Director Logistics Reliability and General Manager Yandi. Yanni's academic background includes a Master's in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Growing up in Greece, Yanni has lived and worked in cities like San Francisco, New York City, Singapore, Perth, and Port Hedland.
