Jaime Diaz is currently the Practice Lead for Geotech and Hydrogeology Minerals Americas at BHP, a position held since 2017. Previously, Jaime served as the General Manager and Consultant at DERK Ingeniería y Geología Ltda from 1999 to 2017. Jaime holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and is pursuing a Master's in Innovation at the Business School of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Additionally, Jaime has completed a post-degree program in Technological Innovation in Mining Geomechanics and a diploma in Modern Techniques of Underground Excavations.
