James Agar

James Agar is currently the Group Corporate Affairs Officer at BHP, where they lead a global team responsible for the company's corporate affairs and communications strategy. With over 25 years in executive roles across Finance, Commercial, Investor Relations, and External Affairs, James has held positions including Group Procurement Officer and Vice President of Global Communications at BHP. Prior to joining BHP in 2002 as part of the Finance team, James worked as an Accountant at Carlton Football Club and as a Graduate at Arthur Andersen & Co. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and are currently a member of the Board of Directors for the BHP Foundation.
