James Rodda is an experienced surveying professional currently serving as the Alternate Senior Surveyor and Chief Remote Pilot for Surface and Underground Drone Operations at BHP since May 2023. Prior to this role, James held similar positions at OZ Minerals from May 2018 to May 2023. James began a career in surveying as a Mine Surveyor with Challenger Gold Operations from May 2016 to May 2018 and also worked as a Contract Mine Surveyor at CBH Resources Limited in early 2016. Earlier roles included positions at Kingsgate Consolidated, Fyfe Surveyors, and customer sales at Repco. In addition to surveying, James has a background in motorsport, achieving notable rankings in the South Australian Rally Championship from 2012 to 2016.
