Jamie King has extensive experience in the mining and exploration sector, particularly in copper and nickel, with a career spanning from 2004 to the present. At BHP, Jamie has held key leadership positions including Head of Exploration Excellence and Innovation, Head of Exploration for Australasia, and Manager of Exploration for Australia, overseeing various exploration projects and initiatives. Previous roles at BHP included Superintendent Exploration, focusing on copper exploration in the Olympic Cu-Au Province and country-scale target generation for porphyry copper mineral systems. Jamie started as a Senior Geologist leading greenfield exploration projects in Australia and has also participated in brownfields exploration. Before joining BHP, Jamie served as a Senior Field Technician at WMC Resources, leading a surface geophysics acquisition team. Jamie holds a BSc. Hons in Earth Science from the University of Plymouth.
