Jarrod Scott

Jarrod Scott is an experienced mechanical technician with a diverse background in fixed plant maintenance and fabrication. Currently serving as Fixed Plant Mech 2IC at BHP since December 2023, Jarrod has previously held mechanical technician roles at OZ Minerals and Round Oak Minerals Pty Ltd, as well as leading hands positions at Independence Group (IGO). Jarrod's expertise spans across preventative and planned maintenance, shutdowns, underground dewatering systems, metal fabrication, and machining. Jarrod's career began as a machinist and maintenance fitter and includes valuable experience from companies such as Pasminco Mining and Quarry Mining and Manufacture. Jarrod holds a Dual Trade Certificate from Broken Hill TAFE, reflecting a solid foundation in mechanical fitting and metal fabrication.
