John Marriott

John Marriott has twenty years of experience in senior risk, governance, and compliance roles within physical and derivative commodity markets. They began their career as a Polymer Technologist with Dowty Group and WES Plastics before transitioning into business analysis at Eastern Electricity plc. John has held various senior positions, including Senior Consultant at ILEX Energy Consulting and Senior Global Manager Compliance at BHP, and is currently serving as the Commodities Compliance Manager at BHP. They hold an MBA from Warwick University, as well as a BSc from Staffordshire University and an MSc from Loughborough University.
