Katrina Rees is a seasoned Principal Structural Geologist currently at BHP. They previously held the role of Senior Structural Geologist at Golder Associates from 2013 to 2016 and served as a Senior Mine Geologist at Xstrata Nickel Ltd from 2009 to 2011. Katrina also worked as a Geologist at Rio Tinto from 2005 to 2008 and had a brief tenure as a Mine Geologist at ATW Gold in 2009. In addition to their geological expertise, Katrina contributed to education as a Science Teacher and Program Coordinator for STEAM learning at Joseph Banks Secondary College from 2017 to 2021. They hold multiple degrees, including a Master's degree in Structural Geology from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Curtin University.
