Lachlan Angus

Lachlan Angus is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and project management, possessing over two decades of experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Lachlan began a career as a Senior Designer at Tenix Defence and subsequently held similar positions at BAE Systems, where responsibilities included CAD management for M113 projects. As the Owner of Angus Design, Lachlan further pursued entrepreneurial ventures before transitioning to operations management at Cadgile. Lachlan's expertise culminated in a significant role as Project Engineer at BHP Billiton, contributing to projects from 2014 to 2023. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Regency Institute of TAFE and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of South Australia. Recently, Lachlan took on the position of Manager Project Studies for Copper SA Major Projects at BHP in 2025.
