Lachlan Mahon

Lachlan Mahon is a Mining Engineer with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently employed at BHP since May 2023. Lachlan has fulfilled various roles including Graduate Mining Engineer and has completed underground shifts necessary for the WA underground first-class mine manager's ticket (FCMM). Previous experience includes a position at OZ Minerals where Lachlan operated various mining equipment and completed crucial shifts for the FCMM. Lachlan has also served as Project Manager and Project Estimator at Norwest Group Pty Ltd, achieving ISO certifications and managing civil construction projects. Additionally, Lachlan has held roles in design and technical capacities during earlier positions, including an Undergraduate Mining Engineer at OZ Minerals and a Technical Officer at Donovan Associates. Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mining and Civil Engineering from the University of Wollongong.
