Lauren Brown is an experienced geologist currently serving as the Lead Exploration Geologist at BHP since September 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren held various positions at Dacian Gold Limited from December 2015 to June 2023, including Senior Project Exploration Geologist and Senior Exploration Geologist, where responsibilities involved comprehensive exploration and project management. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Geologist at Horseshoe Metals Ltd and as a Geologist at SJS Resource Management, focusing on near-mine exploration and managing drilling programs across various commodities. Lauren has a robust background in technical reporting, project review, and geochemical sampling, with proficiency in ArcGIS and familiarity with Leapfrog and Micromine. Education includes an MGeol BSc (Hons) in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds and an international study year in Geological Sciences at Victoria University of Wellington.
